The Concealed Weapon License class are now offered every Sunday from 1:00-5:00, Thursdays from 10:00 until 2:00, Saturdays 10:00 until 2:00. We also have the class on other days and times and at night for a three student minimum. We will make it easy and convenient for small groups to take the class when it works for them. The cost is $49.00 per student. The 4 hour course does involve a small amount of shooting. We use a 9 shot 22LR revolver.This course qualifies for the Concealed Carry License. You receive a certificate which allows you to apply for the seven year Concealed Weapons Permit.
This course covers:
Hands on Safety Training
Firearm handling and shooting safety
Firearm parts and their operation

Shooting fundamentals and basic how to develop them on the range
How to select, clean and store a firearm
Review of various activities available to help students develop their shooting skills
Transportation of firearms
Reciprocity with other states
Lots of tips on how to not be a victim
Safety scenarios at the home and outdoors
Posession restrictions etc......
Class participation is always welcomed. There is not a test at the end of the course, however there is a test in the book that is part of your class materials. You receive a lot of info with my course. I have been teaching around 11 years.
 
  I also offer personal training at the range. I am also certified in Pistol shooting. I take up to two students. Noise cancellation hearing protection is provided so we can hear each other speak at all times. I supply several different guns for training purposes, semi automatics and revolvers. If you already have a carry gun we will also use that gun; bring 50 rounds of ammo for your personal gun. I usually take to the range around 400 rounds of ammo for your use in my guns. This is a 7+ hour pistol course. Safety is a MUST and we go over this constantly. I instruct defense and sport shooting for accuracy. I only take up to 2 students at a time (mostly one). I stay very focused on my students. Accidents are not an option.  I also give instructions in handgun cleaning included with the course. Your confidence will increase tremendously.

Keep Your Kids Safe. A youth classes are available. Please call or email for the schedule. Your children spend a lot of time at friends homes. Increase the odds that they will do the right thing  when a gun is discovered while at a friend's home. 

   2nd Amendment Armory offers concealed weapons permit classes held by certified female instructors. Our instructors offer an informative and educational experience to give you the confidence and knowledge you need to handle your firearm properly. If you have no experience with guns, don't worry. We are here to help you get started. We will work with you to help you understand your rights and the law (though we are not lawyers and don't pretend to be).

Ammunition Reloading Tired of high ammunition prices? Who isn't? Learn how to safely and quickly cut the cost of shooting in half. Ammunition you
make yourself is more accurate, consistent and safer than factory loads. It is a safe, clean and enjoyable hobby that more than pays its own way. You learn how to handle, prepare and load cases, primers, powders and bullets.This is six hours of mainly hands on learning on single stage and progressive presses. Max two students per class. The class is $135, which you will quickly recover with your new skills.
